Thank you Cedar Rapids for all your support!
I was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I moved to Cedar Rapids in the early 90’s and have been here ever since. I grew up around entrepreneurs all my life, was blessed to travel the world, work on and ride some incredible motor bikes, dealt some hardships in life (many my own doing) and finally decided I needed to start over. So, this is it. Always one to pick up a conversation with someone fairly easy and with a love for the restaurant business in my blood, I took a chance. I love motor sports and I love the open road so I thought there must be a way to merge the two into something meaningful. The time came where I needed a new direction. This restaurant and all it stands for is my chance to do some good, serve food people will enjoy and more important, make a regular tradition for their family and friends in the months and years to come. I love what having a diner means because it‘s sort of a return to the days of old for me growing up when people came together at places where they knew the owners and many times the other locals who patronized the diner. I hope you’ll give us a try and bear with us too and support us as we all deal with the difficulty and unknown our country and the world is going through. We’re still here, we’re trying our best to keep the doors open and give some relief and comfort through the good food we make here at Hwy30 Diner. Thank you for your support, and now, what can we get for you? The grill is on, our cook and wait crew are ready and we would love to make your day just a little bit brighter in serving you a meal we truly believe you‘ll enjoy. So, get your shoes on and come on over...
